Hi there all:

I have been interviewing with a reputable company for an awesome position dealing with international banks. The company loves my background and part of the job scope is to deal with Latin American banks. The last process of the interview is a phone interview with a Spanish speaking associate who is going to conduct the interview in Spanish to make sure I have some knowledge of the language. The person has to able to communicate in Spanish but does not have to have perfect Spanish. This is me. I am able to defend myself and make my point across. The only issue is communicating Accounting and Finance terms. Ex. I know assets are "bienes" and liabilities are "pasivo, deudas".

I was hoping that someone could translate for me the below bullet points shown below in Spanish so i can practice before the phone interview. I would like the translation to be word for word as shown below so, when asked, I can say exactly what duties I performed in my prior jobs in Spanish.

I would really, really, really appreciate it and drinks on me if we ever meet in person to the translator or translators.

Thanks a bunch.

Hey Jrjrth:

You are the bomb. That is why the saying is sometimes correct. "It is not what you have, but who you know".

I not even going to ask did you translate yourself or through the help of some program ( jejejeje I just did), regardless, thanks a million and let me know if you reside in DR or where ever you do. You will be the first I will get drunk.

Muchas gracias.

Good Job!!!!

Hi there:

I noticed the dislike. Any reason why?

Also, I reported a change I needed. Can you take care of that for me?

Thanks

I happen to be taking a class right now in economics.

I'm still learning but I wouldn't necessarily go by Google translate if I were you. For example, assets are "activos", not pasivos, at least not as used here in the DR nor in the book we have. Speaking of that it is Contabilidad Financiera 11ed, by Warren, Reeve and Duchac.

If this job is really important I would look into buying a copy or checking the local library.

Oops I meant to say "assets are activos, not bienes", sorry!

Also, the Wiki contabilidad page looks correct at first glance.
