The Dominican Republic Tourism Promotion Office in Germany wants to position the Dominican Republic in the minds of European golfers with or without Covid-19. Petra Cruz, director of the office in Germany, is behind the Touristiker Golf Trophy organization as part of the 10-year old Dominican Golf Cup.
For the first time, the tournament will be played in three golf courses in Germany, one in Switzerland and two golf courses in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The final is set for early December 2020.
The free golf series is already being held in Germany. The partners are Dertour and Dertour Golf Club, GGM Gerhardt Golf Marketing and in Switzerland with Golf 4 Companies.
