Yet another moronic statement. The positive test rate in my county is 20%,across the state in Dade county, the positive test rate is ONLY 17% It needs to be 10% or less for us to be close to having a handle on this.

Not a conspiracy or a hunch at all. I look at the reported YTD numbers of all the common flu bugs that are normally reported by the variuos organizations world wide. Most report a drastic drop of all the other respiratory diseases while covid has surpassed 510,000 YTD deaths.

Normally a combination of H1N1, Swine flu, pneumonia etc claim upwards of 650,000 deaths world wide yet this year they do not. Perhaps you could enlighten us all and explain when all the other respiratory illnesses were eradicated and only Covid kills people.

Please get back to us at your earliest convenience when you are done blaming people for inability to look this stuff up.

Getting back to the actual topic of this thread, I read on today's POP arrival & departures the first US flight via American Airlines in cancelled. Wonder who made the decision?

Just checked the company website and DL 493 JFK-SDQ shows operating tomorrow. And also July 3-5. And since we're only booking the main cabin to 60%,unlike other carriers who are booking to capacity.........

Thank you for your helpful advice, it gave me a kick up the arse to make a decision on if I should return this winter. I have booked to go to Cuba for the winter land 1st November and back 28th February, they have done a really good job of controlling this virus and they need the money too. There will be no covid19 infected Americans rubbing shoulders with me in the tourist facilities there. This will be the first winter since 2009 that I have not spent winter in Republica Dominicana

And enjoy the "lovely" food in Cuba. Pack lots of stomach medicine (I used to live with a Cuban and went there tooooo many times. Food is dreadful).
