Beautiful sunny skies above Juan Dolio....

with just enough random cloud to keep one from getting sunburnt!
Temp is bearable at around 30C with a little less humidity.

Dunhill put a repeater in my window today so I now have excellent strength signal for internetting to keep up my blog and hopefully this report.

Now if only he'd tell me where he gets the temp readings etc I think I might fall in love......

It was a beautiful day in Juan Dolio today......

slightly overcast but no rain and a bearable temp of 27C....
Great day for golf at Guavaberry or lounging by the pool mid day when the sun was at it's zenith.

Tomorrow is forecast to be sunny all day with temps in the 29C range and the humidity 74%.
A great Christmas Eve is just a few hours away!

What a great way to start the New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!

It's a beautiful sunny day in Juan Dolio.......24C (90F approx.) with the humidity at 88%, so it's a perfect day to head to the beach.

Wind is from the north at 7 mph to keep things comfortable.

The sea is calm and warm and the beaches are not yet crowded!

Come on down and enjoy!

The forecast for the next 7 days is more of the same so dig out that sunscreen and join us!

Ok...so shortly after I posted this the clouds began to roll in and not one, but TWO downpours cleared some of the humidity from the air.
It was still a great day for the beach (no chance of sunburn with the drifting cloud cover) and the sun once again shines!!

Temperature is 24 C with a light scattered cloud cover.
Slight chance of precipitation today.
Wind from the north at 11 kph.

Looks like an excellent day to hit the links and the courses should not be too heavily populated today so get over here and hit some balls!:classic:

Sea is fairly calm at present but should see increasing wave action this afternoon!

Light cirrus clouds float high above us and temp is a comfortable 22C (72F).

Light breeze of 18 kph (12mph) from the north makes it a glorious day for golf or catching a few rays (UV index presently at 1-low).

Although temperatures are warmer than they have been it actually feels cooler due to the breeze which has been quite cool since the rain Sat. night and Sunday.

Weather has changed so I thought I'd update.....

Current temp is 70 F....
Skies overcast with 100% humidity and steady rainfall.
It has been raining since sometime in the early morning hours (1:00AM) and is expected to continue throughout the day.
Wind is light - 9 mph from the east.
Thunderstorms are forecast for later in the day and temperature should reach high 70's to low 80's

Thursday's forecast is for partly cloudy skies with thunderstorms overnight, continuing of Friday....

Good day to get some packing done for our trip home on the weekend. Not so good if you were planning on spending the day at the beach!
