The Kenyans finally realized the futility of their efforts. It was just a matter of time before the Haitian gang violence chewed them up and spit them out. We knew the real reason the Kenyans were in it was for the money and Biden’s support for an IMF bailout loan for Kenya. That’s the reality. The Kenyans portraying themselves as Haiti’s savour was pure fiction. Their President did a great job of selling it to Washington and was wined and dined for it.

Haitian gangs killed approximately 200 civilians a few days ago. They accused them of witchcraft. Can Haiti get any worse? Expect more Haitian refugees heading in many directions to escape the violence. Another reason to tighten the borders in the DR, the US, and Canada.

Not to lessen the gravity of the most recent massacre, but most massacres on the island have been in Haiti. The biggest difference is that now private gangs are doing it vs the Haitian government.

Massacres aren’t particularly new or rare on that side.

Like I said when their deployment was first anounced, I give them one year or less and they'll be begging to get the hell out of there.

Gangs have been running Haiti for decades.
Only difference being suites and smiles vs guns and grins.

The Haitian president fired the Health Minister today. He held him responsible for the gang related deaths of two journalists and a civilian at a reopened PAP hospital a few days ago. Not a smart move. The Health Minister didn’t have any influence or control over the situation. I guess the President needed a sacrifice to placate the media. One more sign the downward spiral is accelerating.

Was it ever decelerating?
Re-colonization is the only chance they ever have at becoming a functioning country again. They have repeatedly exhausted all of their other options while showing the of the world the are incapable of doing it on their own.

And there is zero chance of re-colonization. Hence zero chance of fixing a problem with no solution.
