Susanne,FYI,A "red-neck" began as a terminology to indicate a "farmer"(who would have a "red-neck) from walking in the fields all day.It was "southern,and indicated a"lower intelligence" associated with farmers.Over the years it has come to mean,"all people from the southern US,when used by people from outside the "south" Used generally to indicate an ignorant,beer drinking,pick-up driving,American. "Joe "Six-Pack"is almost,but no quite interchangeable.As it is less offensive,and tends to indicate an "average" American.Criss Onions on the "Polser" is the "only" way to go!!
