the deadline is 8th of january 2016 and the drivers caught without it will have the car impounded and only released upon purchase of marbete plus 600 pesos fine.

I believe the penalty for renewing the Marbete late is 600rd plus of course the cost of the Marbete. That would be either 1200 or 2200rd.

Yes the cost was 1800 when I got mine in mid Jan and the same for my friend I got one for a week later.

That is exactly what I said. 1200 or 2200 plus the 600 late fee.

The fine will depend on the office you go to for late payment.. + whether you are a EXPAT man or woman..> MAX 400pesos!


My Renewal AUTO emails on Marbetes are sent to me each year to remind me..

THEN they delivered FREE to my home when I present my LEGAL CEDULA..
