How could the authorities overlook the fact that he was buried in his own house? Since when do houses in Gazcue have dirt floors? If the initial story is true, whoever did this had to break through the cement/tile floor, dig a large hole, dispose of the dug out earth, bury the body, and repair the floor. Nobody noticed anything strange until the dogs were brought in? This story is very macabre, indeed!

My sincerest condolences to the family of Jack Phillips.
There really is nothing else to be said, as the level of conjecture will just increase as time goes on.
Why things occurred the way they did is a topic that will engender more speculation, and I would not like the finger to be pointed at the Phillips family for any reason whatsoever in their time of grief.
So let's take this time to be sensitive to the Phillips family.
