Astounding, incredible, beautiful.
One review site I saw called Windows 7 "Vista that works."
Keep the reports coming. I am particularly interested in incompatibility issues with currently installed programs in Vista that don't work in Windows 7.
In general I tend to be a very late adopter of new operating systems, such as when I am forced to get it because it is bundled with a new computer.
Up 'till now, I have not been able to install an anti spyware program called SuperAntiSpyware. That's it.
Everything else went in fine.
The OS installed drivers by itself and the only glitch I have is that the wifi on occasion does not hook up after rebooting. Have found no real solution but rebooting it once more (less than 1 minute) fixes it everytime.
This OS is so much better than XP or Vista that it is/will be difficult for me to tolerate using them after less than one day of being spoiled by "7".
The perks are too numerous to mention.
If I have time, I will make another youtube clip or two, showing some of the perks.
Navigating this system is super easy and fast.
It is also more user friendly that I could have ever hoped for.
I have navigated around, finding and testing "things" and I more or less know the entire OS already.
It's just that simple.
It's an OS for users, for laymen.
Let the geeks play with the complicated stuff.
This one's for us.
Score it 10 on 10.
