Congrats on the 3rd place. I had heard you did well, but didn't want to ruin your fun by posting before you had the chance.

Wish I could have gone, but my dad's in town and my kid got his first tooth that day, so it was a busy busy day for me.

As with any first time venture, no doubt there are improvements to be made. Good to hear you're taking the good with the bad and no doubt next year's will be even better.

are there any other tournies coming up, especially in june?

Ocean World Casino has mini tournaments every Tuesday and Saturday, now starting at 7pm (changed from 6pm). These are RD 3,000 buy-ins and last about 2hrs. Anywhere from 8 to 20 players.

There are also good money games almost every night of the week, just show up around 9pm.

The next big tournament will be August 11th, RD 15,000 buy-in.
