Some thoughts about the global trend to (accelarating) excess death and disease rates, regardless of the cause:
  • For the dominican youth choosing a medical profession is a wise choice. Demand will be sky rocketing. There are already agencies that offer full service for dominican nurses seeking jobs in the U.S. Also european countries and australia already are looking for foreign nurses.
I have never run across a nurse that graduated from a school for nursing in the DR. How many do?
  • Business opportunities in affected 1st world countries for exporting used cars and other goods to 2nd and 3rd world, because many good used products will be available for cheap.
Because of all the dead people there will be more used stuff to export. I suppose that could work.
  • Not wise to register vaccination shots if not abolutly neccessary. Risk is higher health insurance rates, refusal to be hired.
Governments register vaccination shots already. It is part of the CV19 system 'round the world. QR codes, you know. That horse is out of the barn.
  • Experts that manage to survive and stay healthy will have a lot of work. Not true for shoe shine boys, but medical experts, IT professionals, engineers of all kind, crane operators etc. can expect considerable more salary and plenty of offerings.
Just avoid jobs a robot or AI can do. Which will be most jobs and just about every menial one. Try to pick one that only a human can do that pays well. Being an exporter of dead peoples stuff might be on the edge of automation. Don't become a taxi driver or truck driver for sure.

  • The japanese word for crisis is chance and I see a lot of chances.
Exciting times ahead indeed

Your observation of this truly inspires me.
Since 2003 is not 45 years, but who is counting?

Everyone will eventually get CV19. More mutations are on the way, but it is hard to say who well they will play.
Omicron cases will go ballistic.

Exactly one. She learned nursing in Santiago which took about three years about 8 years ago. She got a job in New York with an agent who provided full service including all paperworks. Lost contact, but I know she still lives in New York.

Crisis what chance?
You listed some business opportunities. In general, all kind of medical professions and specialist are needed. Naturopathic profession to instruct on how to lead out the vaccines and resolve trombus is a profession that does not have high hurdles. There will be many orphanes so orphanages child carers will be needed as well.
Small fully equiped businesses of all kind will be for sale also.
Excess mortality is one but I think we will have a lot more people getting sick and are in need for treatment and nursing because of the symptoms of microtrombosis including dementia. We are already seeing such cases.

I am glad to have been retired for 20 years. Not much fun lies ahead in those predictions based upon your understanding of CV19 and its long term societal effects.

You got to love it. I don't think any of the so called experts have a clue as to what is going on. Open the world up and let the virus run rampant. Those who are vaccinated shouldn't have much to worry about.

Those that are not should be bothered as they probably still think it's all a hoax. I'm sure their beliefs will get them through it.

He'll maybe the covid will turn on itself and be self eliminating. Then we would all be correct and safe.
So the experts who spent their life dealing with viral outbreaks all over the world do not have a clue and you know better.

Sweden already tried your great idea and it was a massive failure.
Plan was to reach "herd immunity" which has only been done so far in cattle.
Sweden gave up when the deaths spiraled out of control

You think Covid will maybe turn itself off? Any evidence or you just "think it".

You thinking this is the last viral epidemic the world will face?
The Corona virus response has been a massive fail due in part to people like you who know more than the virologists.
If this virus was more lethal it would have resulted in catastrophic death numbers.

Bubonic Plague killed you in a week.
That got peoples attention.
Corona virus needs to be more lethal and the anti vaxxers will be gone along with the folks thinking Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquin are cures.
This disease has stayed with us for among other reasons it does not kill you quick enough.

Did you guys notice how the covid narrative has changed since Omicron ?
Now that it has been established that the vaxxed are the ones spreading Omicron all over the world (because the non-vaxxed aren't allowed to travel in most cases), the blame and bashing of the non-vaxxed has virtually stopped.

Turns out its the vaxxed who are contaminating each other with Omicron in planes, restaurants, parties, stadiums, concerts and other places that the non-vaxxed CANNOT access.

I love how the media is now almost silent about the unvaccinated and can no longer target a group to bash constantly. Hahaha.

Totally untrue.
You have a source for this?
Non vaxxed travel just fine.
My mil just arrived in the US from the DR and she has zero vaccinations.
There is no requirement for a vaccination to fly, all that is needed is a very recent test.
There never has been blame and bashing of the non vaxxed.
The media has not been "almost silent".
People who are vaccinated are the least likely to get sick and the least likely to spread the illness.
Where on earth are you getting these bizarre ideas?

In my reality non vaccinated people are on planes, in restaurants, having parties, in stadiums and going to concerts.
Sounds like you may be suffering from unvaccinated persecution complex. , unchallanged.
No one is attacking you for your choice to not get the vaccine unless you live in some totalitarian country.
You are free to be foolish and wrong but not free to type crazy nonsense here as though it were true and made some sense.

No , it is here , there and everywhere to stay. Have I not stated that at least 100 times?

I suspect there will be other pandemics. It is time to move on form this one. Woulda, coulda, shoulda, Why speculate?

I never died from bubonic plague, but then I don't believe in reincarnation , or anything else, for that matter.

CV19 needs to be more lethal? What kind of dismembered mentality suggests such things?

As I mentioned, it is now time to move on and let the chips fall where they may.

I noticed a distinct shift. Even from Dr, Fauci. The world has started to recoginze CV19 is not going away and people need to live with it.

I think you're understating your retirement years mafriend
I do know when I stopped working at a real job. It was some time during early 2002. I moved here full time in 2003 in September after my residency was approved and I sold my house in California in less than week and then had to get out of Dodge promptly...

If anything I overstated slightly the number of retired years at being 20.

Now, back to CV19 and its conversion from pandemic to endemic. And that reality is CV19 is going to be here there and everywhere to stay, which I said back in 2020. It is time to move on. And await the next big thing.

Dr Fauci has suggest only vaxed fly. I know people that will NEVER get vaxed. Oh well.
But that is in the US where no such requirement exists.

People who are vaccinated are the least likely to get sick and the least likely to spread the illness., Are you sure about this. The first part is probably true but the second part is not. Vaccinated people are just as likely to spread the virus, after all the vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting the virus.

Omicron has changed the paradigm. Vaccinations never really stopped the spread even before Omicron. Or they would have stopped the spread. See the great DR F:

I can not figure out why a few people keep saying things like this ( see red highlighted quote ..)
Do they really want more people to die , they want it to be more Lethal to make their Point ?

Its really quite disturbing
