Apparently Covid1984 is more
active after 7pm Monday - Saturday
and after 5pm on Sundays. Which of
you believes this to be true?
The Boogey Man is a live and well.
I don't think anyone said anything like that. The night-time curfew is about keeping crime down while some people are so short of money and, personally, I'm very happy that it's in place.

I had my Airbnb guest go to the beach at 5:30 and she was immediately arrested...She was a 30 year old woman with her young son.. These people are idiots and while there is a state of emergency will do whatever they please
Your guest broke the law,we can argue that the beaches should be open blah, blah, blah but the fact remains that the beaches are closed and she went anyway.

My wifes brother was working with a group in the campo near Punta Ruccia. They were returning in a car after 7 and got put in jail but only for a couple of hours and set free. I dont think they paid anything.
I know several Dominicans who have
arrested for violating the curfew here in
Santiago. None of them have spent the
night in jail and i can guarantee all of you,
none of them paid more than a few hundred pesos to be released shortly thereafter.

I know a person here Cabrera..... caught walking home 1/2 after curfew

Arrested and locked up for the night... Dominican
5 women-9 men - separately

Next morning..... cleaning the beach until noon
No fine - no option to leave

It was a couple of months ago

It varies , I guess

I'm sure local repeat offenders. Low end fishing crowd with a few local sluts. Fresh from a punto and Marcello's porky bar

WRONG... I have never seen anything that said beaches had an earlier closing time.
Additionally there is a thing called discretion,,, That word may be new to you
But its used when people dont understand that being on a beach 2 and a half hours BEFORE quarantine, that it a violation of law
Maybe a sign should be posted???
