I don't think anyone said anything like that. The night-time curfew is about keeping crime down while some people are so short of money and, personally, I'm very happy that it's in place.Apparently Covid1984 is more
active after 7pm Monday - Saturday
and after 5pm on Sundays. Which of
you believes this to be true?
The Boogey Man is a live and well.
Your guest broke the law,we can argue that the beaches should be open blah, blah, blah but the fact remains that the beaches are closed and she went anyway.I had my Airbnb guest go to the beach at 5:30 and she was immediately arrested...She was a 30 year old woman with her young son.. These people are idiots and while there is a state of emergency will do whatever they please

Arrested and locked up for the night... Dominican
5 women-9 men - separately
Next morning..... cleaning the beach until noon
No fine - no option to leave
It was a couple of months ago
It varies , I guess

just happened to be a bit late
I guess when I think of the place, I only see the 500 peso cell phone-hocking, wheelie popping, punto shoppers that plague the town. Don't forget the dealers and ladrón electricians! Wepa!Ian Fleming..... fiction scribe
Reality ......
I know several Dominicans who have
arrested for violating the curfew here in
Santiago. None of them have spent the
night in jail and i can guarantee all of you,
none of them paid more than a few hundred pesos to be released shortly thereafter.
