It IS renewable.... you can change your classification
You can begin a formal application from your home country

You may need a lawyer to help with these things

Totally agree, you can change your status or renuew same one that you have for 2 more years. Take the advise of William Webster

I spoke with my lawyer on ShipShape's behalf....

His problem is he doesn't have DR employment.... hence the classification change

She said the plan was designed for Haitians and that's why YC got the work visa
Many others got the same

Someone with a business here needs to offer YC one of those work from home positions (I forget the Spanish term, botella?). :)

Then there was something wrong with his application that went to work visa card.

Not at all.. my lawyer said it was the normal route...

Register with the plan and you get 2 yrs to sort yourself out...
or you can continue on the work visa
