AZB,

Dominican trash? What is Dominican trash? To me, it's the people on the SUVS, no exceptions made.

Cleaning-lady-type? What's wrong with cleaning ladies? Are they "inferior"? Have you never cleaned anything?

Rich classy Dominicans? How are we supposed to make a difference? By the garbage they throw from the yipeta? Champagne bottle or Presidente bottle?

Chopos? See point above.

Private locations? So the rest of the country can go to hell, with rockash and the rest, as long as the rich classy Dominicans have their private locations?

Matumbu tribe? What's wrong with the Matumbu tribe? Since you mentioned it, are you white? If so, do you know that in the US some ignorant people would classify you as "latino" and cite the Matumbu tribe as well?

Plus it sounds you don't mix with foreigners either, otherwise you would be a cleaning lady-type, which is obviously a shame. So what are you doing on the board? I don't want to mix with you in the first place, being a foreigner that mixes with the "fango".

Regards
Perfect example: this guy has no clue at all.
Anyway, you can have all the chopas and the cleaning ladies you want in sosua, you will not get any competition from us in santiago. Good luck.

By the way, Nal0whs, you are the man of true wisdom.

I don't want to intrude into your little debate here with AZB, but what the heck! Dominican trash are those hookers and such. You know, the one's that sell their dignity for a few dollars. It doesn't matter how tight one's personal economic situation is, a person with real integrity will never sell her or himself in such a low life fashion.
way off base when you say things like the above. I'm not of liberal bent, and don't use the services of ladies of the night. However, to call them trash because of their profession sends shivers down my spine and you need to look into your mental mirror for a long time to think about what you say, if indeed it's your personal philosophy.

They're doing what they do to make a living. You'd have to look for a long time to find one who really takes pleasure from that way of life. Where I live I come into constant contact with "hookers" and most of them are decent people. God only knows what folks might fall into your "such" category.

I must say that AZB has impressed me beyond belief!

I never thought that foreigners were capable of understanding that the real Dominican Elite are not those classless chopos! But, now I realize that foreigners are capable of understanding such thing, its just that they reach to conclusions based on the false image they see with their eyes when they visit here.

Congratulations AZB, you truly know what the Dominican people are about, from the elite to the masses.

Culturado e tener plata no es lo mismo! You do not have to be a foreigner or Domenican to understand this. In my exp in any country there is a cultured class (artists, writers, doctors, laywers, notaries, usually bankers, stock brokers and old style business tycoons). Some of them have money and some do not, the ones with money keep this to themselves in general (old money).

Then there is the uncultered class, some of them rich.. hence the term nouveau riche (NR).. usually people who have been very succesfull at something specific without the benefit of an allround education. These are the people you see flashing their cash in public, they just don't know better.

Again culture and class cannot be bought.. what you do see is that the smart ones from the NR put their offspring through the same schools and clubs as the ones with old money.. this is good for both classes the NR get social acceptance in the 2nd or 3rd generation and the old money get some influx of current societal values, keeping it a healthy environment..

Let Me Ruturn To My Recurrent Theme!

There is a very simple "cure" to all problems Dominican(not to mention most other "problems" in the World!)
First,Everyone needs to be taught the meaning of the word,"RESPONSIBILITY"!!!!!!!
Then, everyone needs to be held RESPONSIBLE for their own actions!! EVERYONE! From Cradle To Grave!!!!!!!
Problem starts here in infancy.Child cries, pick them up,give them milk, carry them,My kids feet didn't touch the ground intill they were 3!Basically let the child rule the parents, not visa versa. They tell the kids "NO!",but thats it.They don't punish them(I don't mean physical punishment, this, usually a slap to the back of the head, only used if the child is within easy reach)I mean sitting them in a chair, and explaining that we don't hit other children!Or,"Whatever"!They are basically "unsupervised"!
Anyway, this lack of being held reponsible is a fact of life here! This may be a Latin/Hispanic trait,I don't know,I suspect that it is judging by "Latino" childern I have observed in airports!
Sooooooooo,no responsibility,no respect for self,or others,or property,or relationships,or the environment,or trafic laws,or aanything!It all reverts back to the responsibility issue!
I don't expect to see change anytime soon, not if the unruly bahavior of Dominican children is observe each and every day is any indicator!
I don't advocate "Corporal Punishment for the children in the DR,now the adults are another story!!!!!!!! :rambo:

"PROSTITUTION",when did this thread take a "Turn For The BEST?"
I don't think that "IT" is a sin, immoral or anything but an opportunity for an over-the-hill,fat,bald,out-of-shape guy like me to have a never ending series of sexual encounters with pretty, young hardbodied, senoritas!!As long as my $$$$$$$$$ and "Viagra" hold out!
cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc
