Hey Windy,

I think they are getting excited Lou's Shark Bar is getting rebranded on Pedro C.
Perhaps y'all can play some Eagles or Depeche Mode opening night.

I am available. For some reason though, I am not expecting to get the call. Maybe from the new eventual owner of the Blue Bar on Cabarete Beach?

Dick Lupino and Island Breeze are lining up gigs with quite a few already booked from January through April when Dick is in town from the US.

I am working with a guitarist from Hawaii who now lives in the area. He was a touring professional playing gigs in California , Norway and touring from Key West along the gulf coast into Texas for many years as well as writing and recording. He is an excellent vocalist and plays guitar. If gigs are available, we could do them in this area.

I think it could certainly sound good.

We can cover material from Hall and Garfarkel , Simon and Oatemeal, The Wandering Cranberries and whatever else a duo could do-wop. :nervous:

Renn has the range to sing the selections of Boston (probably not best attempted by a duo - but singing such songs is possible for him and few other humans).

We just need to work up a song list and check out the possibilities for gigs. (If only it was really that easy.)

Spoke to Frank today. Looks like the opening will be in two weeks. So the weekend after next should be a go.

when I look for bars....
I want to feel more like a gynecologist than a football player...

Back on topic, there's a sign outside of Rocky's Aqua on the street side, saying it's for rent, from some legal organisation. I suppose they are working for Big Frank?

Was it not planned to become a Mexican themed eatery, such as Chipotle Mexican Grill or Chevys Fresh Mex?

I did see that rumor. With a For Rent sign appearing, it appears to be a false rumor. What is the rent?
