FYI (off topic) :bored:

I use mens' clubs, tees AND balls!!
I also play from the whites (no ladies reds for this golfer!!) and have been known to 'outplay' many a male!

If you doubt the above just ask our illustrious HB. He's seen me play!

Now if you will stop hijacking this thread and get back to topic please as I am truly beginning to think these 'nonsense, infantile' posts are just a diversion tactic........

I was told that the whole thread was off topic, at least it is according to Johne, and isn't he the OP?
Pardon me for not really knowing.
It's not a rhetorical question.
I truly don't know as the posts are longer than my attention span.

Just so some of you are aware. This is what our sock puppet detector spat out Yesterday, 02:17 AM.

-------

MommC seems to have multiple personalities using AC/DC and MommC sharing the same computer.

-------

MommC, you should no better than to register new names.
What's worse, is using them to make yourself look good or back up your arguments.

Am I right that AC/DC registered back in 2002? So this was............er.........advance planning in case another identity was 'needed'? :cheeky: How many other 'sleeper cells' are there?

Thanks Robert! I wish it was my job to make these cute disclosures. Anyone around here that still remembers a certain competition some years ago?

No Rocky AC/DC is MommC in her male persona - perhaps DaddyC.

Someone (need I say friend) was having problems getting their program to load the wifi login page........Check this mornings posts under BOTH user names and you'll see we were both posting almost simutaneously!

Just a case of me being helpful again since Dunhill was otherwise occupied!!

Wrong again.......

If
DaddyC[unquote] was posting (he chides me all the time for spending time on this board with "bleep" people who have nothing better to do) you would find all his 'English' written with Italian spelling. While he speaks and reads his third language quite well he never has learned how to write it correctly as he had more important things to do!:cheeky:

Forget ideology - look at it in terms of current usage: I could cite style guides used by eminent publications like the Economist, agencies like AP and broadcasters like the BBC (and even DR1 news, believe it or not) where the use of gender neutral language is advised for reasons of clarity as much as anything else, but I suppose this would just be dismissed as part of the Great PC Conspiracy?.

The username AC/DC was registered on the same computer as your MommC username, it's that simple. Our sock puppet detector is pretty smart, actually smarter than the posters it catches. It has never been wrong in the 2 years we have been using it.

"Almost simultaneously" is very different to simultaneously.
It's like almost winning the lotto and in the case you got caught and lost.

Now -trying to get back on topic......

Let's consider, for a moment, Salinas.

In absence of the 'rule of law' the 'rule of the person' has functioned in an almost perfect fashion.

The 'rule of the person' has shown itself to be - accepting , compassionate, community minded, polite, pro-individual, tolerant.

There is no 'sexism', 'racism' , just that innate inner sense that says all "men" (read 'men' as being members of the homo sapien species) while maybe not 'equal' (depending on your concept of equality) are 'worthy' (read as having worth!).

No one is treated differently than anyone else.

This to me is demonstrative of true 'liberation','rule of person' and shows that man(kind) can live in harmony IF HE (generic signifying ALL human kind) CHOSES TO DO SO!

To me 'rule of law' is only needed when 'rule of person' is solely self centered, failing to consider the needs/rights of other 'persons' (as evidenced by many, many posts in this thread).

You wouldn't need all those brackets if you rephrased it thus:

There is no 'sexism', 'racism' , just that innate inner sense that says all PEOPLE while maybe not 'equal' (depending on your concept of equality) are 'worthy' (read as having worth!).

No one is treated differently than anyone else.

This to me is demonstrative of true 'liberation','rule of person' and shows that PEOPLE can live in harmony IF THEY CHOOSE TO DO SO!

Forget ideology for a moment and look at it in terms of current usage and clarity.

while he was a guest in my house.

Now he is visiting Juan Dolio and thought he's 'kill some time' reading the board.......so while I was getting him up and running he was using my computer (even had the curtesy to log me out and log himself in:ermm:).

Now if you'd like to meet him in person I'll take a walk on the beach later to see if I can find him to set up an appointment tomorrow as he leaves tomorrow night, I believe.

Would that be satisfactory to you????
