Russia has stopped delivering natural gas through the Nord Stream pipeline to Germany and western Europe. This winter is a good time to consider a long-term rental or property purchase in the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic has around 90,000 hotel rooms.

The Dominican Republic also has a vast inventory of more than the 90,000 rooms in competitively priced villas, houses and apartments for rent or sale all around the country.

It could just cost you the same to stay in Europe as to travel for a month or two, or more, to the Dominican Republic to pass the worst of the European winter.

As reported, deliveries through NS1 that transports natural gas from fields belonging to the Russian Gazprom to the German Baltic coast, have dropped significantly since Vladimir Putin launched the war on Ukraine in February 2022.

Should Russia invade Poland to kill the hiding Ukrainian Nazi's and after that go into Germany to clean up hiding German Nazi's? Concerning the overstay fee in the DR, I guess you can say that it is similar to how many countries have approached marijuana; it is not legal yet, just "decriminalized" Many people would prefer to pay the "fee" rather than put up with all the nonsense and requirements of the residency and its renewal process, just to get a few perks.

More countries in Europe depends on Northstream2 (Putin gas), the pipeline only lands in Germany and the gas is transported further from there. By the way, people have themselves to blame for thinking that Russians are reliable trading partners.....don't know if the same applies to Russian women.
Also good to know the inflation rates:
13% inflation here in the Netherlands.... so I know what I'm going to do with my rental rates in 2023
