Simply Red Sosua Restaurant Review

I am new to this and I have only just found this thread, I started a new thread about last nights dissapointment, please feel free to add to it as you seem fit

I am going to Sosua in about a week with my girlfriend and a couple of her friends.
I was going to give this restaurant a try since I like to check different places out.
Not now, going to stick to Rockys....NEVER a disappointment.

Try the Orchidee next door to Rockys, I think you will not be disappointed.

JR, Do I take your post with a pinch of salt (and read it as sarcasm) or are you actually recommending Orchidee. I only ask as, we too are due back in Sosua in 4 weeks and have been following "Dining Out" threads with interest so as we may plan a few evenings out.

I will give a place no one knows. D'Piero Located off of a side street across form Supermarket Zollo.

No one makes better Pasta on the North Coast. And everything they make is good and reasonable. Also a nice pool side setting. The cook worked for 15 years in New Garden and the old name Garden Keti.

Try this place. It is new. His shrimp dish with white sauce is outstanding, as it the Lobster Fri Diablo.

Thx JR, will give them a try when down. Already love La Costera but will add El Choco to our list; where is Germanias by the way.

JR, did you ever try to descend the Orchidee steps after a few bevvies and in high heels??

But regardless - good food, nice folks, great service and prices are OK.
