I have always felt the bananas come from one particular source. I am a voracious banana consumer and buy a lot of them every week.

When one place has small crappy ones, so does the other chains and the street vendors.

When you find really nice ones, everyone has nices ones.

It happens too often to be a coincidence.

Even many of the bananas you buy in the colmado/street have been sprayed with a chemical to artificially ripen them.

..the only place I have found decent cheese cake here is at the expensive AI hotels..dont know where they get it maybe Florida..

I've seen Cheesecake in every supermarket I've gone to. National, Jumbo, Sirena, (not sure about Bravo).

Cheesecake is extremely popular here. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant or a hotel for that matter that didn't offer it.

Vesuvio and Cantabrico was/is my all time favorites.

Right up there with flan.
