It is 33:1 for US, you can figure out pretty close for Stg. from that. I doubt you will get a very good rate vs. buying US cash first. Or Euros.

I think I lost the last message. Where is the best place to change US$ into Pesos. I arrive on the 31st Nov 05 to Paradise in Playa Dorada.

For you the best would be TeleVimenca (Western Union), ground floor nearest entrance to Paradise of the Plaza (shopping Mall). Make a note of this quickly as we should'nt really 'Discuss' things on here - just put the rate & where!! ~ GWB.

exchange rate

today,thursday,33.90 to 1$ at franks on el conde,SD...went from 33.60 in am to 33.90 by 1pm...

Interesting, jaguarbob. Rate at Caribe Tours in Santo Domingo was 33.75 at 1 pm today. Wonder what it was at 3 pm.
