Chichiguita, as a Dominican, I am grateful to you and others like you who give a damn about our poor nation. You have chosen to spend precious time leading and guiding those that need it most. Altruism is rare these days, especially so, with people far removed from your own world.
You chose to forgo the touristy "thing", to help others. I wish great success to you and all the people in Mata Gorda.
