The OnePlus do make a US model which only has one SIM. The dual SIM models are not sold in the US.

Much to my dismay ....One Touch stopped making dual sim phones. The last dual sim phone they made is the 8T (which is a fabulous phone), They sell their phones on their website.
The 9 is a dual sim phone. 5G as well.

And it works too . My old iPhone XR has a UK SIM card + US eSim …Miesposa’s iPhone 13 has a Dominican SIM card and eSim from one other country.

DR is not on this list of wireless carriers that offer eSim technology…but I’m sure it will be soon seeing that Claro in other countries in Latin America are on board.
I will test drive 2FA on US eSim when I’m back in DR.
