I do, and I get a response and a fare adjustment from Uber in less than 24 hours. All one has to do is follow the app and very simple to determine if the driver deviated from the assigned route. No rocket science involved here.

Not really WW, just a matter of doing an internet search.

Have a seat in a very comfortable place and wait for that refund to arrive........and I thought I was naive.

Actually I could care less is i get a refund. I will take the credit cause it is only a matter of a day or two before I use the credit. If I return an item to Home Depot I just tell them to give me store credit cuz they gonna get my money back one day or another. I do the same with Amazon on returns, just credit my account.

When all is said and done there have been way, way more customer satisfaction reports on Uber in Santo Domingo than negative. The few airport complaints only started recently but in town Uber use for many is still very convenient and the way to go.

Not for sake of argument. I got the info from an internet search and tried it a couple of times just for the heck of it. Just me but i found it silly to get 40 pesos credited back to a CC. I would think most of the refunds/credits come from cancellations which are 40 or 70 pesos depending on who cancels.

If you are referring to me I very recently posted several posts on things going on around the holiday season in SD. Seems most people on this board would much rather argue over trivial matters than discuss what's happening in SD. Just this past Sunday I did the aquarim in Sambil Mall for the first time. I thought about posting but no one cares. I posted about the upcoming parque de la luces, the kids show at Cafe Teatro in Agora. I don't recall you providing any additional information.

Question......not sure anyone here would know......but.....

We’re attending a wedding in the Zona Colonial in January. It’ll end late, and we don’t want to drive home, so we’re staying at the Catalonia on the malecon. The plan is to leave our car there and either Uber or Apollo to and from the church and reception. We never ever use a credit card in DR, been “compromised” too many times. So I’m wondering, if you use the Uber app and credit card, is it processed in DR, or elsewhere?
