Your favourite place in DR?

I've been wanting to visit the Southwest DR for about 2 years now, and it's never worked out. Your post has convinced me that I've just gotta get there! Can you recommend any reasonably priced accomodations in the area?

I'm waiting to say my favorite place (so far) until I get permission from admin. to attach some pics.

Sweetdbt, don't delay it any longer!... It's beautiful!... It's a rough underdeveloped area, but it's a great adventure. You'll enjoy the variety of the scenery, the warm hospitality of the people in that area, the rivers, the beaches... I can go on and on about it... Just LOVE it...

I stayed with friends and family when I visited that area... But I'm sure there are reasonable places to stay in Barahona... Do a search on the web, I'm sure you'll find plenty of information.
