Dominican Alex Rodríguez is now the best-paid player in Mayor Leagues in the US. Reportedly, he has just signed a US$252 million 10-year contract with the Texas Rangers. The Texas Rangers recently signed Venezuelan Andres Galarraga, third base Ken Caminiti and Mark Petkovsek on to the team, in their attempt to become a contender for the Major League championship.
