PRSC election results

The first bulletin with results of the PRSC assembly last Sunday shows Federico (Quique) Antun Batlle as winner for the political organization’s presidency. After computing 59.84% of voting centers, Antun Batlle had received 79.62% of the vote, whereas Hector Rodriguez Pimentel has 14.64% and Angel Lockward 5.73%. The race for first vice president is too close to call – Alexandra Izquierdo has 44.94% and Joaquin Ricardo has 41.95% of the vote. Victor Gomez Casasnova is in the lead for secretary general with 89.11% against Alexis Joaquin Castillo’s 8.11%, followed by Rodolfo Rincon Martinez and Ramon Feliz Madera with 1% each. Sergia Elena Mejia de Seliman has 74.19% of the vote for secretary of organization opposed to Domingo Placidos (23.24%) and Jose Romero Hernandez (2.57%). A new bulletin is expected today with the final results of Ballot A, and the first results of Ballot B, where the 31 positions of the Political Commission are being filled. Unofficially, Eduardo Estrella and Amable Aristy Castro lead the vote for the Political Commission.
