Master of the Ocean 2010 final results

Luciano Gonzalez is the 2010 Master of the Ocean, taking the crown from the defending champion, Emmanuel David Rondon, who finished second. Gonzalez won the event by accumulating the most points in each discipline of the Master of the Ocean water sport triathlon in Cabarete, organized by Marcus Bohm. Chilean Manuel Selman, was named surf champion for the second consecutive year, while Alex Soto took the crown for Master kitesurf and Eduardo Castillo Torres for Master windsurf. Other winners included 14-year-old Nico Suriel, who won the Future Master award and Audrey Meyer who was named Best Woman. Manuel Selman and Manuel Rondon won the Aerial, for the best trick.

US$10,000 was split among all winners with the Master champion, Gonzalez, taking home the biggest prize of US$2,000. In its eight edition, the Master of the Ocean attracted large crowds to Playa Encuentro. Visitors enjoyed five full days of competition, live music on the beach and night parties throughout Cabarete.
