Puerto Ricans Marc Anthony and Chayanne will take the stage of the Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo next year for a Saturday, 26 March show. The show is part of the Chayanne tour “No hay imposibles”.
This will be the first time the two showmen appear together in the DR. According to Saymon Diaz, the promoter, both men have a huge following in the DR. He said this would be a historical concert.
Other international stars booked for 2011 are Cristian Castro, with his tour Viva el Principe, booked for an 11 February performance at the Hotel Jaragua’s La Fiesta hall.
Dominican jazz player Michel Camilo is booked for 5 March presentation as part of the Santo Domingo Music Festival at the National Theater. He will be a guest soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of the Festival, directed by Philippe Entremont.
