An investigation is underway into a deficit of millions of overtime for migration inspectors at national airports working from 6pm to 6am, as reported in Diario Libre. As reported, employees at Las Americas International Airport alone say they are owed RD$10 million.
The investigations cover the airports of Punta Cana, La Romana, Las Americas, La Isabela, Arroyo Barril and El Catey.
As reported, the airlines say they routinely make the corresponding payments.
The Medina government recently replaced the Migration Agency director.
