The government of Panama is studying the implementation of the extended school day model that is being rolled out in the Dominican Republic. Deputy Education Minister of Panama, Carlos Staff, met yesterday, Monday 27 July 2015, with the Administrative Minister of the Presidency, Jose Ramon Peralta, to learn more about the Dominican experience in creating the extended school day program. Also attending the meeting were the Deputy Foreign Relations Minister of Panama Luis Miguel Hincapie, Dominican ambassador in Panama Cesar Medina and Dominican Deputy Foreign Minister, Cesar Dargam.
