Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT) Minister Alejandrina Germán announced the signing of an educational exchange with the Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College of the People’s Republic of China. She said with the signing the Dominican Republic seeks Chinese cooperation in matters of sciences, technology and research and to strengthen trade relations with China.
The agreement was signed on 31 March 2019 in Beijing. The agreement calls for an exchange of researchers, professors and students.
