CAASD announces 113 million gallons daily drinking water deficit

The general director of the Santo Domingo Aqueduct and Sewerage Corporation (CAASD), Alejandro Montás says that Haina, Barrera de Salinidad and Isabela water sources are operating below capacity. He said the Jigüey and Valdesia reservoirs are also below adequate levels. He called for people to be aware and make rational use of water especially during these days of drought.
