Earthquake felt in Cabrera

A 4.5 magnitude on the Richter Scale earthquake was felt on Wednesday, 18 September 2019, in the Dominican Republic. The earthquake was noticeable slightly in Santo Domingo. It shook the country at 3:34pm. Its epicenter was 8.6 km northeast of Cabrera in María Trinidad Sánchez province at a depth of 12 km.

Listín Diario reports that at least 17 earthquakes have been felt in the Dominican Republic this week. The 4.5 magnitude quake on Wednesday is the strongest.

In none of the cases have there been damages.
