V Energy S.A., the local branch of the French energy company Total, announced it has purchased 70% of the shares of Plater Investment S.A., a local natural gas distributor. At present, Total distributes natural gas through a marketing agreement with AES Dominicana. The announcement was by Philippe Jaurrey, executive director of V Energy.
