The Abinader administration is donating heavy farm pieces to small farms to improve productivity. So far, the program has provided over 230 heavy farm machinery as part of a RD$415 million program. The equipment is for plowing, harvesting, sowing and drilling in farm areas.
Included in the first batch of equipment are 150 tractors, 3 well-drilling machines, 64 tillage machinery, 6 automatic harvesters and 15 seeders.
The new equipment will make agricultural production more efficient and competitive to continue guaranteeing food security for the entire country.
