IHG Hotels & Resorts is adding the Spanish hotel operator Iberostar to its long list of brands that ranges from hotels for romantic escapes and luxury resorts to budget-conscious family hotels.
Iberostar Beachfront Resorts will add 70 hotels worldwide to IHG’s system. The all-inclusive resort, the Iberostar Selection Hacienda Dominicus in Bayahibe in La Romana will be among the first to join the IHG brand.
Iberostar becomes the 18th brand to sign on to the IHG Hotels & Resorts alliance. The IHG other 17 brands are: Regent Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Vignette Collection, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Hotel Indigo, Voco, Hualuxe, Crowne Plaza, Even Hotels, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Six Senses Hotels, Avid, Atwell Suites, Staybridge Suites, Holiday Inn Club Vacation, Candlewood Suites city and destination operations.
