The five crew members of a Pivot Airlines flight who were on house arrest were cleared to return to Canada and did so. The crew had been obliged to remain in the Dominican Republic as the local authorities investigated the finding of drugs on board their flight in Punta Cana in April 2022.
The crew’s defense argued that the crew had reported the suspected drugs on board the chartered private aircraft.
