US snowstorm strands hundreds of Dominican travelers

Dozens of passengers have been stranded at Dominican international airports due to flight cancellations brought by the blizzards and snowstorms over the Christmas holidays in the United States and Canada.

Listin Diario reports there were 18 flight suspensions in the airport of Punta Cana (PUJ); 12 in the airport of Santiago (STI); and seven in the Santo Domingo Airport (SDQ) on 23, 24, 25 and 26 December. Passengers are being rescheduled.
