President Luis Abinader named ruling Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) activist, Geanilda Vasquez as the Dominican consul in Miami, Florida, USA. Previously, she had served as minister of portfolio with a small office with less than five employees in the Presidential Palace until she was replaced when President Abinader appointed former Education Minister Roberto Fulcar to the position in August 2022.
Vásquez is a native of Moca. She is a lawyer, consultant, businesswoman and founder of the Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM). She has a master’s degree in Public Management.
