The Migration Agency (DGM) reported that a Haitian national was expelled to Haiti for threatening Dominican President Luis Abinader via social media. The man, identified as “Polanco Poush,” was arrested by police in Haina and then handed over to the public prosecutor.
As reported, he was taken to the Haina interdiction center for deportation to Haiti. Poush stated before being transferred that he apologized for the remarks made against the Dominican head of state.
Recently, a Dominican influencer also threatened President Abinader online. He was ordered to serve preventive custody as his case is heard in the judiciary.
