
The Presidency announced it will cover medical costs for the person injured when a speeding advance security SUV imprudently took a curve wrong and rammed into a vehicle that was stationary on the road. The driver in the vehicle is hospitalized at the Centro Medico Bournigal clinic in Puerto Plata, and the staff in the other vehicle is hospitalized in Cedimat in Santo Domingo, Major General Jimmy Arias, chief of the Presidential Security Corps (Cusep) told El Dia.
The security staff were making their way to Sosua to prepare for the Presidential visit to inaugurate the renovations in that beach town.
