Arajet is offering passengers affected by the 2 May 2026 Spirit Airlines shutdown discounts on fares. In an official statement, Arajet offers a special protection fare for those affected, particularly on routes connecting the Dominican Republic with Spirit’s former hubs like Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Orlando (MCO).
The discounted fixed fare is available for passengers that had a confirmed Spirit Airlines booking for travel between 2 May and 15 May 2026. Arajet requires passengers present their original Spirit Airlines ticket or reservation code and a valid ID at the time of booking or at the airport counter.
