Banco Popular issues new stocks

Between 16 March and 21 September, 1996, Banco Popular increased its paid-up capital by 1,260,876 new ordinary shares realizing a value of RD$63,043,800. Manuel A. Grullon, President of Banco Popular, made the announcement, adding that 20% of the monies had gone to its legally required reserves.
