Government pays for chickens

During a meeting by poultry farmers it was announced that a miscalculation lead to an increased production of chicken this year. Farmers produced 845,000 extra chickens, each weighing 4 pounds, and now the government will buy the extra chickens for a cost of RD$45.9 million (RD$55.00) in order to avoid a collapse of the sector. …

US$81.3 million loan for dam
