Anyway, have a great day ExtremeR,

I really enjoy the conversations that we have.....very productive........

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Loud over the top better than thou American male wants to get cyber revenge on a forum so he can sleep better at nights thinking he is the sh|t. I stumble towards those everyday here in Vegas and I take joy of putting them on their place right then and there ;).

The masculine comment is just hilarious, it proves my point ;). But hey...whatever helps you sleep better at night. Hopefully they won't take your girl away next time in the DR lol, don't blame me for it!

Absolutely. If anyone looks up articles written about Bartolo Col?n's Dominican trainer Angle Presinal, he has a reputation as an expert on helping players recover from injuries. His methods are a well-guarded secret and his customers speak of him in reverential tones.

Whenever a trainer comes recommended with the mythical "guru" tag, rest assured there is something else going on. Herein lies the issue-the United States has some of the most advanced sports medicine procedures in the world, but some obscure Dominican trainer in Santo Domingo with no formal medical training is somehow a savant in this particular field, yet no one can or will explain exactly what he does or how he does it.

Presinal's past makes MLB wary about his present - MLB - ESPN

Presinal has been banned by MLB for suspected steroid trafficking, charges that stem back to 2001 and Presinal's affiliation with then-slugger Juan Gonzalez, but they cannot keep players from soliciting his services while in the DR.

As for Lance Armstrong, this may go down as the absolute biggest individual doping fraud in modern-day sport. But as of right now hardly any of the evidence against him has been made public. One thing we do know is his relationship with disgraced Italian doping doctor Michele Ferrari, who is bar none the most renown doping doctor and trainer in professional cycling. This is what R&B was referring to-the importance of masking a PED regimen.

In 2006, a year after he first retired form the sport, documents reveal payments to Ferrari from Armstrong totaling $465,000 dollars. That is the type of money that buys one not only the expertise needed to elude drug tests, but also client exclusivity. One of the stipulations of their professional relationship was a binding non-compete clause during the Tours Armstrong won. Ferrari was not allowed to work with any other Tour rider while on Armstrong's payroll.

The ability to disguise a PED program is just as crucial as the program itself, which is why doctors like Ferrari were so handsomely paid by his clients. This type of expertise costs MONEY, money that maybe some Dominican players don't feel like paying, which is probably why they have tested positive more often than any other nationality in MLB.

Again Berzin, are we certain of this?

A test/epi ratio below 4:1 is just worthless performance wise, you may as well not shoot anything at all... For you to get any benefit from it you need to be over 10:1 for over 2-6 months, like Braun who was 21:1 on his first test until he dropped it below 4:1 again for his second test a week later (maybe they are shooting suspension daily, it leaves the body in less than 24 hours).

I just don't think keeping your Test/epi ratio below 4:1 year round makes any sense at all, they are doing something else (maybe raising the epi levels but that can trigger another positive as well).

A test/epi ratio below 4:1 is what keeps an athlete from tripping the first initial test. The second test that's performed on a suspect sample, if this ratio is 4:1 or over, is the carbon isotope analysis to test for synthetic testosterone.

A baseball player can go over this ratio during the off-season because they are rarely if ever tested-the percentage is very small. The off-season is the time players make their most profound improvements.

Players have caught on that you cannot go into a season jacked like a bodybuilder without courting public scrutiny, so they are keeping lean. The use of testosterone has evolved with the changing times. You can maintain strength and endurance during the year without having to mash a 20:1 test/epi ratio to reap the benefits of having that extra "pep" in your step necessary to compete on a high level without a serious decline in production.

It's not kept at 4:1 year-round. Players gauge their dosages depending on the cycle they are doing and more importantly, when they'll be tested. Except for the stupid ones who don't monitor their levels year-round with a private doctor, who in some cases is the person administering the PED program.

Personally I have no problem with Baseball players juicing. I think it makes the game more interesting (Bigger "bombs", pitchers throwing 100+, a guy almost 40 years old hitting 70 home runs, etc). The only thing I think they should have a separate wing of the hall of fame museum for these guys.

Berzin responded with an adequate answer full of facts which was enough for me and my doubts. Now regarding your answers......let's leave it at that will ya??

The simple fact of you responding to all my posts on this thread even when not directed at you strongly reinforce my theory. :knockedou

I will give you this, at least you went from "brain dead" when living in the Dominican Republic, to "moron" when you moved to the USA....

Which is a big step up, and should be applauded....

I wish you the best.....

Hey, ExtremeR, cheating is probably all over the sports world.

Ironically, if a baseball player doesn't increase his HR output, no one suspects him of cheating. And since cheating has been the norm in cycling dating back to the 1920s, it's possible that some of the baseball heroes of yesteryear were also cheating. It's blasphemous to suggest that Nolan Ryan may have cheated. But I have my doubts. Same with Mantle, Ted Williams, Aaron. And although Clemens feels vindicated today, he ain't fooling no one. Only the most na?ve will be of the opinion that since the govt. couldn't make a case, then Clemens must be innocent.

100% agree.........BUT.....

The forum is called Dominican Baseball, who gives a flying FU-K about those other guys?

This has gotta be a Dominican thing: Again, when feeling uncomfortable, or a little queasy, when a Dominican ballplayer gets caught using PED'S.....you feel the need to throw everyone else under the bus.....

Did Pichardo PM you and say, hey throw all these Americans under the bus?

Is this the Dominican way?

Do you know how weak and pathetic it is to do what you just did?

Of course YOU DON'T, it's eating you alive that another Dominican got caught, so lets start blaming some other famous Americans,

A couple who ARE DEAD......

Smooth Lucifer.....real smooth......

What's funny is that some here wanted to portray Babe's as clean when he admitted himself with sheep testosterone in order to increase production, did it caused the intended effect as today's drugs? No but the intention was there.

It doesn't matter anyways because for me Babe Ruth is the best baseball player of all time sheep testosterone or not...Dude hit more HR's than his whole team combined in 1921. When you hit 59 homers and the second best in the league hits 24 you're a monster.
