As long as your friend keeps her head together in the Dom Rep, she will be fine! Enjoy the time together and time will tell if he is only after money, etc. I know everyone told me my animacion guy was and yet here we are now after 4 years of marriage living happily ever after in England and about to have our second child!!! What do all these people know anyway - they are only acting on personal experiences. There are a lot of animation staff just out for a good time so tell your friend to do the same and not jump in. Time willl tell but there are exceptions - she shouldn't split up with him and then regret it later
