Blast from the past!!........I will admit it...I have shopped at Pathmark....lol.....:cheeky::cheeky:

They have a Krispy Kreme section along with fresh rolls and bagels.

They are Krispy Kreme not Dunkin Donuts. I have only seen Krispy Kreme stores in Florida. I have not seen one in NY.

Please let me know where in NY if someone knows.

Now you are talking.....lol...Also it looks like the last Krispy Kreme bit the dust at 2 Penn plaza underneath Madison Square Garden...(or one of the last) not long ago........there were 9 Krispy Kremes at it's peak.............Like Sinatra once said...."If I can make it here.....I can make it.......... anywhere.... it's up to you".......was not an easy market to crack for a lot of different reasons...........:cheeky::cheeky:

There was a Krispy Kreme opened in the Atlantic City area - with great fanfare. They couldn't crack the Dunkin Donuts franchises and closed up. I hope the one in Santo Domingo does better!

The "After" pictures will require "Wide Screen Monitors"..........

Enough talking about Krispy Kreme, I?m still suffering from just going by the new store Wednesday on the Metro bus from Santiago. Somebody next week who is coming to Santiago will have to bring some back for us Krispy Kreme addicts.

Is it because they're too fat from eating doughnuts?

This is what Leonel wanted (To turn Santo Domingo into a small version of The US.) Too bad with this type of food becoming popular in The DR we're going to go from this

Same thing happened with Dunkin Donuts. They're closed now.

In all fairness, DD was around when the economy really sucked, so that may have been the reason.

Rob, any idea when the store in Blue Mall will open?

No idea.....

Lines completly around the block when Burger King opened on Churchilll
Lines completly around the block when Taco Bell opened on Churchill
Lines completly around the block when churches opened on Tiradentes

Yes, unfortunately

Lines at IKEA, look now not so long past every time I go by anyway, seems deserted, no full parking lots.

When we first arrived way back when, there was a Subway, did not last long, I love Subway....

Recently, three or four weeks ago, a new Taco Bell on Camino Chiquita kidecorner from Nacional, does not seem that busy either and opened with little fan fare. I am not a big taco bell fan, but wish them lots of luck.

And if IKEA, the world phenomena fails (IKEAS Sucks anyway), what will the Chance of some really good american or other great franchises coming be, slim I say...

BUT LONG LIVE KRISPY KREME, duncan is superior, but BEGGERS or home sick for junk food can not be to picky....

GOOD LUCK KK, just keep the prices decent and beat the hell out of King Donut and thier G%&damn RD$60.00 stale dones!@!!!
