If you are in Higuey you can find them. Next to La Sirena in Higuey is a Tire shop that features Hankook.
Hankook are good tires. I put them on my Grand Cherokee in the states when folks were laughing about the quality of Korean Tires, and warning about the dire consequences...

Anybody want some live target practice !!??

existing tires are Bridgestone Dueler H/T
255/65x17...Temp B, Tract-B wear, 300

I bet I can do better....

I'll check Tire Rack in the US - via mudanza

I might like a fatter , taller tire - more air between potholes and me

Whatchathink??

Out of the 3 that are available I would go with the Sumitomo. Japanese technology that's right up there with the likes of Toyo and Yokohama but at a way better price. In my opinion they are still the best kept secret in the tire industry. (And I never worked for them).

Tire Rack said the same...
Then I found a closeout on Pirelli Scorpion ATR, $95 each.
Am solely tempted

Especially since I just got flat after my first 500 km of fun....
too much fun , I guess... but waiting for 2-3 weeks may not appeal to me.
We'll see what happens with the fix tomorrow

I ran those on my 07 Silverado. Great tires. Keep in mind I have had over 100 vehicles in my life so far and don't plan on slowing down anytime soon. I have had pretty much every brand name and a few of the not so common names. There are only 2 or 3 brands so far that really sucked.
Strangely in 10 years I am still on my original DR car and it's second set of tires.

100 vehicles? I could never think to do that. I run them out when I have the chance.

Since the 1970's I have had a 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger, two Dodge B250 vans, a 1985 Pontiac Fiero, a Dodge Grand Caravan, and a Mitsubishi Eclipse in the US and now have the Hyundai Santa Fe I purchased in 2003 and a 2015 Kia Sorento here. The only vehicle I did not like was the Eclipse because the power steering made it feel uncoupled from the road. The Caravan and Eclipse were sold just before I moved to the DR.

Wow. I paid $120 all-in.

I will say they are very good tires, solid and rugged, just what we wanted.

Plus how much to purchase the 4 tires then what are mounting / balancing costs? All in what's the total total and which tires and the size
