What did you do today to enjoy life in DR?

I sit in my air conditioned room, away from the heat, posting on DR 1, pretending that the US state department and all of the UN big muckity mucks are reading it, and that I am regent for the Queen of Quiskeya, and that what we say here is going to create a better world and

so is URGENTLY important...............



and so I have a REALLY important work..

I take regular breaks to hydrate and dance to Juan Luis so I can learn the lyrics.. walk the dog, and maybe go to the pool when the sun goes over behind the tall buildings at 3 pm

I am also continuing to study my course in exopolitics, which is diplomacy with extraterrestrials. One can never be too prepared.

Mad as a hatter. Yes. We have that on record.

You are in DR. Isn't is hot all the time? ..........................................

I was told that when the tropical depressions form, they suck up all the air...

sorta like when i am depressed, i suck up all the oxygen in the room from whomever is there

and no, it is not hot all the time. After you have been here for a while, you get very sensitive to a few degrees difference in temp. I do not use the AC except for two months. Most of the year is really pleasant. But August and Sept. have been brutal. Last year I was COLD from November til March. Actually had to wear sweat pants and sweaters.
